Gordon G. Andrew has more than 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. On the corporate side, Mr. Andrew most recently served as vice president of marketing communications for Prudential Financial.
Prior to that, he served as CEO Sanford I. Weill's head of communications at Travelers Group (now Citigroup). Previously, he had served as director of marketing services for The American Stock Exchange, and as the director of financial communications for Continental Group, an NYSE listed company.
On the agency side, prior to founding Highlander Consulting, Mr. Andrew was president of the New York office of The Weiser Group, a Chicago-based marketing consultancy. Most notably, he founded and for more than a decade served as managing partner of The PR Consulting Group, a New York City-based marketing communications consulting firm.
Mr. Andrew has strong working relationships with media sources around the globe, and is often engaged to manage sensitive crisis situations and damage control in media firestorms -- exemplified by his assignment as spokesperson for the former CFO of Enron Corp.
He has published numerous articles in leading professional publications, and is a frequent speaker on marketing related topics. Mr. Andrew was admitted to the elite Counselors Academy of the Public Relations Society of America, and is a recipient of the Individual Investors Association's prestigious Nicholson Award.
