Ken Hunter, APR

Ken Hunter provides businesses with visions, strategies, and inspiration for public relations programs. As one of our Senior Consultants, he brings deep experience in the B2B, technology, healthcare, corporate, real estate, government, non-profit, and consumer sectors to the firm.
Mr. Hunter has more than 25 years of experience in public relations – at agencies in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Colorado.
Prior to that, he worked in journalism at several publishing companies in New York City covering commercial and ski resort real estate and high-yield bonds.
His communications expertise includes corporate positioning and branding, product/service launches, crisis communications management and execution, marketing communications, digital communication, and spokesperson and team training. Mr. Hunter has worked with industry leaders – including Starbucks, Tempur-Pedic, Dow Chemical, and Sprint PCS – as well as growing influencers and new ventures, including Space Imaging, Wireless Advocates, and Spectranetics.
A member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Ken was chair of the PRSA’s Tri-State District, encompassing more than 1,300 PR professionals in New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut, and Westchester County, N.Y. He is a Past President of both the New Jersey and Pikes Peak chapters of PRSA.
Ken holds an Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation from the Universal Accreditation Board. A frequent speaker on PR issues, Ken is an adjunct professor in Seton Hall University’s graduate communications program and William Paterson University’s undergraduate PR program. He is an alum of Syracuse University, in Syracuse, N.Y.
