Nick Freer
Based in Edinburgh, while active in London and international markets, Nick Freer founded the Freer Consultancy following a decade-long stint with one of Europe’s top financial corporate communications agencies, Maitland.
Well known in press circles as a former adviser to Deloitte on the Liquidation of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, where he handled worldwide media activity, Nick’s client work includes Clayton Dubilier & Rice, Westfield Corporation, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), J Sainsbury, Skyscanner and the UK’s largest tech incubator, CodeBase.
Nick, a law graduate, has extensive M&A, IPO and funding experience, close links to the London-based media and is an occasional contributor to his local press title, The Scotsman.
