Alternative Investment Marketing Remains Stuck in Neutral

With rare exception, and despite research showing increased investor demand for transparency, most hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investment firms have made little progress in providing basic insight into who they are, what they do, how they do it, what they stand for, and what type of investors they serve.
This issues and opportunities described in this admittedly long-in-the-tooth Hedge Fund Journal article remain pretty much the same. Alternative investment marketing remains stuck in neutral.
